June 7, 2018
February 28, 2022

Type 2 diabetes has a host of symptoms beyond the more commonly known symptoms, like weight gain and increased thirst. If you’re experiencing symptoms of prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, reach out to your doctor. They can schedule some labs to see if your blood glucose is elevated.

Type 2 diabetes symptoms include:

  • Fatigue
  • Increased thirst and dry mouth
  • Increased urination
  • Frequent vaginal or urinary infections
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Increased hunger
  • Neuropathy (numbness, tingling in feet and hands)
  • Blurred vision
  • Slow-healing sores or frequent infections
  • Weight gain

It is important to keep an eye out for symptoms of prediabetes so you can take action before it progresses to type 2 diabetes.

Prediabetes symptoms include:

  • Feeling tired and hungry all the time
  • Poor sleep
  • Difficulty focusing
  • Neuropathy (numbness, tingling in feet and hands)
  • Skin darkens in the neck, armpits, and skin folds
  • Developing many small skin tags
  • Weight gain, particularly around the waist

Reversing Type 2 Diabetes
