Shane Henderson
Chief Technology Officer
Shane Henderson is the Chief Technology Officer at Virta Health, and brings over 30 years of experience in all facets of technology and software development. Prior to Virta, Shane led the technology teams at Signify Health, where he oversaw the transformation of the technology stack to accommodate a period of 10x growth. This included implementing scaled Agile practices, establishing Mobile, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Site Reliability, DevOps, and QA Automation teams, and formalizing Signify’s Enterprise Software Architecture discipline.
Prior to Signify Health, he was Senior Vice President of technology at Dallas-based Match.com (NASDAQ: MTCH), where he helped scale the company internationally into a billion-dollar business. He also founded the Match Mobile Technology Team that won awards for user interface design, and created the Match.com app that is featured regularly in the App Store.
Shane is a 2021 Dallas CIO of the Year ORBIE Award Winner, and also sits on the Board of Directors for National HME, the largest technology enabled direct to hospice DME provider in the country. He holds a BBA in business computer information systems from the University of North Texas and currently resides in Allen, TX, with his wife, their three children and two Boxers. Outside of work, you might find him working on his 1984 Porsche 911 which he fully restored himself and continues to work on in his spare time.
